Your thoughts on this look?
I bought shorts similar to these at The Gap last weekend, but the shorts I got are knee length. also, my legs are not 5 feet long like this model has lol, so my tall boots would probably be only 2-3" inches from the cuff of the shorts.
would you wear this look to work?

i think the shorts would need to cover the top of the boot for it to look OK ... if there is a small gap it will look weird, IMO.

I found another pic, with longer shorts. but again, there wouldn't be such a huge gap between the cuff of the shorts and the top of the boots on me. there would be a few inches of opaque tights showing, but I think that's the point

maybe I'll try it out on a Friday just to see how it goes. although I am not sure why I'm so worried... so many women at work wear flip flops (the rubber kind!) all summer

i think it would look BETTER with a bigger gap, i think a smaller gap would look unintentional, and may be weird. do you get what i'm saying? i think i'm not explaining myself well, lol.

Nay. Not very flattering even on the supertall superskinny model. And I don't know where you work, but it's not a very professional look.

I work in a professional enviroment, but many people don't exactly dress that part. that doesn't mean I do. I always dress professionally, as does my boss. I think this would be a casual Friday thing for me.
DH likes it, so maybe I'll just wear it on weekends
