You know what stinks?
I just had laparoscopic surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy last thursday. I lost my left tube 
I started using opk's to track my cycle. It's blaring positive this morning and I can feel ovulation pain on my right side..the one with the remaining tube.
I want to move forward and TTC now. But I have to wait for my post op appointment on tuesday to make sure all is well. I physically feel well, but I am def getting checked out first.
It just stinks to know i'm o'ing from the good side. It may not happen that way again for 2 months at least. You just don't know!!

I'm so so sorry! better to wait until after your Dr's appointment to confirm all is well then to have something happen now! Let your body heal, you will eventually O again from your right side!

Definitely. I know I am waiting, i just was better off not using an OPK. But i could feel i was ovulating anyway...its weird, i rarely ever feel i ovulate from the right. Maybe my "good" side is kicking into gear?? wishing thinking!!

Don't give up hope! There's no way to know which side you'll ovulate from next month. You don't necessarily go left, right, left, so you could ovulate from the side with the tube next month, too.
ETA: If ovulating from the "wrong" side becomes an issue, you can always see an RE who can help to stimulate your ovaries so you produce more than one follie each month - hopefully at least one from the good side!

Thanks everyone, i appreciate it!!
It's funny...i was a bit hesitant when I found out i was pg with a third. Excited, but hesitant...and after losing the pregnancy I realized how very very much I want another little one. I don't care what I have, when I have it...just want a healthy little baby to add to our family.
I hope everyone gets their happy news soon...

I've heard this can happen!!
Although I still have both ovaries, one tube...so i will continue to ovulate from the side with no tube...i heard that sometimes the other tube will catch the egg! Crazy what our bodies are capable of!!
