When you had your sonograms done, if it wasnt in the doctors office, is the technician allowed to say anything about what they see? Will they tell me if something shows up or do I just have to wait until the results are sent to my doctor??

Mine told me that she didn't see anything while she was doing it.
But I'm not sure what she would have said if she DID see something.
I don't know what the rules are for them - every place is probably different.

It depends on the technician and the place... technically, for liability purposes, they aren't supposed to say anything because it is the radiologist, who is certified, who interprets the results of the Sono, and they can get in BIG trouble if the tech tells you one thing and then the radiologist tells you another (which happened to me, I made a big stink about it, and then from that point forth the tech literally wouldn't breathe a word to me during any of the sono's afterwards).

I agree with this
While they probably can tell certain things from doig your sonogram since they do them a LOT, legally they aren't supposed to say anythign

I agree. The last one I had the tech told me it looked like I would O from the right this month, but thats it. The time before that the RE was with us and she told me what she saw. The one before that the tech didnt say anything except when I asked her what the black circle looking things were on my ovaries..and she said those were my follies.
