Yogurt
I am going to be giving DS yogurt in the next week or so. What yogurt does everyone give their little ones. DS will be 8 months next week.
Plain Greek, YoBaby or something different?
Thanks!

Plain organic whole
This--the flavored ones have a lot of sugar. I'd just mash up some banana or pear and mix in for flavor.

Re: Yogurt
I started with plain full fat Greek yogurt and added fruits to it. Once he became a toddler, I started giving him Yobaby or Yotoddler

The sugar is my concern. In the little YoBaby its 13 grams. DH thinks I am being silly because fruit has sugar too.
I guess I really have to read ingredients.

If they are not eating a ton of other sugar throughout the day, 13 g is really inconsequential. I sometimes think sugar gets a bad rap. Everything in moderation.

You are totally right I know 13 grams isn't a lot but my concern is more if it is added sugar or natural.

I agree with you but there is added sugar is EVERYTHING these days so I try to avoid when not totally necessary.

Re: Yogurt
Wallaby Organic Greek Plain Whole Milk Yogurt.
I buy it in a large container at Whole Foods or Fairway.
I have been unable to find it in regular supermarkets.
Then, I slice any combo of the following:
Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, banana, strawberries, kiwi, and figs.
I scoop out some yogurt into a bowl or a Tupperware if we will be on the go and then mix the fruit in. He loves it.
