this story is NOTHING compared to what DH and I saw on one of the STARZ channels the other day. OMG! the way they treat their workers in China is HORRIBLE!!
they make 13 cents an hour and are beaten by managers  they force them to work 7 days a week or they get fired, and when asked by anyone how many days they work, they have to LIE and say 6! and they get rewarded for lying about this and the horrid conditions they work in.
they live in FILTHY TINY dorms, and rent + utilities is taken out of their paycheck. even if they don't want to live in the dorms, they STILL have to pay rent.
I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP IN THAT STORE AGAIN!!!!! 
Not that I am defending Wal-mart, becuase I 100% hate that store. But I hate to break it to you... this is how mostly all factories are in China for every pc of clothing that you wear... Believe me I have been in them.
ITA with this. Know that wonderful Bitten line that SJP just came out with? I'd be willing to bet the ground I stand on that they use the same type of cheap labor.
In my eyes, it's the same as eating meat. We all know the horrible conditions that the animals live in, but very few of us give up eating meat because of it.
