yet another PIO complaint

I'm sorry to keep having complaints here, but something weird is going on with me and the PIO.

I switched to the olive oil and I've had no burning, no itching, no red bumpy rash, no abnormal swelling or hardening (just the usual lumps).

The weird thing is that every night during/after the injection I feel an odd feeling in my chest. The only way I can describe it is the feeling when you inhale somewhere that's really cold or high altitude. It just feels strange! Last night was the topper though because as DH was finishing giving me the shot, I got light-headed, my vision started getting dark and my hearing started to be weird (which is what happens to me right before I pass out). I laid down on the bed and DH splashed some water on me and I was fine and did not pass out.

Has anyone had a reaction like this? Could this be from the olive oil? I mean, I'm running out of options here for PIO!! I have never had anything like this happen before and I did PIO for 10 weeks with my DC and during at least 5 other cycles of FET/IUI because I've always had an easier time with PIO than suppositories (hate them).

Even though the suppositories stink, maybe he can switch you to several of those a day. I don't know how far along you are, but maybe he can monitor your progesterone really closely. It seems like the PIO is terrible. I'm sure you'll continue taking it if you have to, but maybe there are other options. I would call Dr. B again.
