yet another IUI
So I got Dr Cain today and I found my St Gerard medal (technically I found at the end of my last 2ww, but I think it was too late) so I am trying to be hopeful. But it's kinda hard since on cycle #2 with Gonal-F I only got 1 egg!
WTH, I make 1 egg on my own! I would think with the meds I would make more. It was why we switched from the Clomid. I am walking the line between hopeful and bitter! Hopefully this month will work out tho.
Good Luck to all the ladies still in the game!

Re: yet another IUI
tell me about it.
I pump large amounts of hormones into me and I get two.
2!
I should have 100 for the amount I'm shooting.

Re: yet another IUI
You sound so much like me.
I had 2 (almost 3) eggs each time on Clomid ( I did 100, 100, 150).
When I did injections, only one. I was really upset (as was my RE)...and he told me that although in the beginning stages, I had TONS of follicles prepping themselves, my "dominant/leading" follicle suppressed all others. Because of this: he said next time, we could take another med when the leading follie starts showing up to suppress it's effects.
He said it was highly unusual that one would "race" so hard like that. I was getting monitored often... lots of action... and then one day...BAM just one huge follie.
Instead, I'm doing IVF. Better chances and I can get a certain amount of $$ for it this year before this insurance cycle ends. If it weren't for insurance reasons, I would have gone your route & done one more w injections.
The whole point of this long thing is: make sure they tell you WHY. If they think it was a lead follicle taking over: can they suppress it.
Good luck!
BTW: I've moved up to a vodoo doll for luck. If it all works... I'll keep it in the system.
