Yay or nay for work

With tights... I do not have one dress for work, and I am having trouble finding any I like. I like them to be 'figure conscious' without being sexy & I need long sleeves because I don't show my tattoos at work.

Any other suggestions, too?? I would LOVE to find a few dresses for work. I have looked online at Ann Taylor (and found one I LOOOOVE but it’s sold out), Banana, J Crew, Bebe, Express & Macy's with no luck.

This is it:

Re: Yay or nay for work

As long as there isn't a ton of boobage out.. I think it's great!

I'm contemplating a new job and will want ALL new clothes if I take it. Where did you find this?

What about a wrap dress? Personally I hate them on me but I love them on other people!

Thanks ladies... I ordered it. I just wasn't sure because I have never bought a dress for work before!

I love dresses for work, but also have a hard time finding them.

I like that one--but if the sleeve issue is limiting you, you can try cardigans with short sleeve or sleeveless dresses.

Re: Yay or nay for work

I would wear that to work for sure.
Wrap dresses are also a great choice- I wear a lot of those to work...
Victoria's Secret might have some options...

Re: Yay or nay for work

That is absolutely NOT work appropriate - at least not for my office.

Great dress though -

Re: Yay or nay for work

I think it depends on your body type. I am curvy so a dress like that wouldn't be as ok for me to wear to work because I think it would show too much cleavage. I could wear a turtleneck dress. I do love the dress though! (I noticed it might be sheer? I can see thru at the bottom.)

I saw a few dresses at speigel.com that were cute, and I think any sleeveless shift can be worn with a suit jacket to cover your arms and looks professional.

As long as the dress is not "tight" on you then I say yes.

Its a nice dress, but it depends where you work. In my office, this dress would be considered highly inappropriate.

Well, my office is business casual... I am wearing it today actually! I don't know if I like it for here (work) now that I am in it in my office... LOL.

I LOVE the dress, it's really comfy - it's definitely a keeper for dinner out with DH and I think it would be cute with leggings even on the weekend but not sure if I am comfortable seeing a client in it (I have no big client meetings today).
