I say yay for a splurge. I love my Frye boots, they are extremely well made and I know they will last me many years. They are also very comfortable, but do take some breaking in...

I like them, but I could never spend that much on shoes. My max is $50 Old Navy has a pair of riding boots for $39.99 I got 2 years ago. I LOVE them. Classic black side zip come to just below the knee.

Are they Frye? If so get them even for that price. I love them regardless so a definite Yay! Black classic riding boots are timeless and if they are good quality will last you forever!

Piperlime! The black is on sale for 299 and then I got a 15% off code for them off retailmenot.com. You have to have a Banana Luxe card to use the code I think?
I ordered them. Its been a long time since I've found a pair of boots that I LOVE and would consider spending this amount of money on...

I voted yay. They're classic and will last you forever. Yes, they're on the pricier side but if you will get good use out of them, totally worth it.
