It's just that I'm pretty short and so many styles looks frumpy on me. I don't want to look like an old lady!!!!

I kind of love it!! The only thing is the torso seems so short but if you say you are short maybe it would be more proportionate for you than the model.
I think if you got it you would have to wear more adult accessories and hair style to pull it off.

Because you're so short, do you have time to get something hemmed or altered to fit you better and not look so frumpy (which I'm sure is impossible!)?

YAY!!! I love it. To make it look more mature, I would pull my hair up tightly with a bump and i'd do some really cute black heels with simple drop earrings.

IMO, I think if your short uner 5'2 it would look so good! its he only good thing about being short we can pull off this stuff!
I'm short too, I feel your pain, everything looks frumpy on me too  i have to go short and frilly and it looks neat and pulled together, we always look younger too, hey another good thing about being short.
