yay or nay -- UPDATED
Update: I don't know what took upon me last night (VERY late!!!) when I posted this. I actually ordered them after I posted and got them already today. Yay for Zappos but not great really!!  They are VERY shinny. I can't wait to show DH tonight.  I will call Zappos to return them.

I can't believe I ordered those shoes at 11pm and got them the next day.
I showed DH for the heck of it. He actually wanted to see them on me first before making an opinion.... such an open minded guy. 
So his conclusion is... an hybrid of rain boots with a hint of dominatrix outfit. Apparently according to him I needed to buy a whip with the boots too.
At least it was "entertaining". I HAVE TO laugh at myself sometimes.
I am glad people preferred my taste in my lamp purchase.
