id write back saying
"great to hear he's good. Just wanted to let him now im good too. I recently got married.it was nice to see him on myspace"

not writing back looks like she "caught" you doing something bad

Yeah, I agree. If you don't write back he may think you had other intentions that were thwarted by his GF contacting you.Chat Icon

I agree - I'd write back with something nice like that, so it was obvious that you were just saying "hi" and not trying to reconnect in a weird way.

Knowing me, I'd totally write back...something nice, like "Oh, great to hear he is doing well. Thanks for the Update."..something along those lines.

Re: Too much wine one night and...

I doubt he knows about this message. She was snooping and I guess thinks she "found" something. No man would tell his GF to reply to his messages on myspace. That is just silly.

Assume he has no idea that you even sent the message and she is just feeling you out.

I would not bother to respond but if you want to play the game say something like - "Wow, is ? incapacitatedChat Icon I have not seen him in ages but did not hear that he lost the use of his hands. It's good to know that he has someone in his life that can handle such tedious things for him as replying to his myspace messages. Congratulations on finding each other."

I actually just replied with MRS T's message and I added " I recently got married and am happily married. I did not mean to cause any harm. I mean that with 100% sincerity. I simply was just saying hello."

So, I felt it was better to reply with what Mrs T said in a combo with what I wrote above so she knows there was NO intentions what so ever...

I doubt she will respond again. It will only further shine a light on her insecurities about her relationship.

Wow...I'm surprised you decided to go with MrsT's message... it sounded quite snarky to me. Combined with your message, which is just too much explaining IMO, it doesn't sound too good! Chat Icon It all sounds a little defensive to be honest... (even though I'm sure you don't mean to sound that way)

Don't be so sure she won't reply. I probably would... or I'd be reaming my BF about why "she" got so defensive.
