WWYD...Working
Back in November I was laid off from my job when I was 6 months pregnent. I obviously didn't get hired anywhere when I had a huge belly, so i am still collecting unemployment. My DS is almost 2 months old now, and I really need a real job again.
Now here's where it gets tricky... I got so used to being home with DS all the time..I actually love it. Yet, I do need some adult time more often LOL. My freinds job is hiring, and I just updated my resume to email to her boss. The job is M-F 8-5...which is basically the same hours that my DH works..
My MIL would be watching DS on her days off from work. But I don't know what to do with DS when she IS working. We definatly can NOT afford any daycare right now....and alot of the other family will be working those hours as well.
Should I email the resume to her boss...? Or should I look for something else that starts once DH gets home?
WWYD?
TIA

Me personally... I would have babysitting set up before I got a job. Unless the salary I'd be making would cover paid daycare (plus enough to make it all worth it).

Re: WWYD...Working
since you love being home: i would only consider the job if it is financially worthwhile for you to take it. i.e. you're not spending everything on childcare and the $$ would help your household. those 2 things would be the deciding factor for me.

I would also get the childcare in place before starting a job. You will not be able to focus on work if you're worried about your son, just my oppinion.

Re: WWYD...Working
You need to figure out your childcare situation first. Some places have long waiting lists. And you cannot count on sending the baby to a number of different family members all week long. What will you do if your MIL is sick or goes on vacation? You should figure this all out and then start looking.
