WWYD? Prek question

We moved DS to the school around the corner from my office. Hes in the afternoon class starts at 12:30. Hes having some trouble adjusting. Bit of background...for Nursery DS went to a different school T, Th for 2.5 hrs a day, morning session. He was fine, hes shy but other than that no tantrums, grumpiness, nothing. Now at the new school, he goes M, W, Th and both thursdays (theres only been 2 since school started) the teacher told me he was grumpy for a few mins during school (one grumpy session he was screaming but they calmed him down after a few mins). You think hes tired? He says he likes school and the other kids. I just dont know why hes suddently acting up. Advice? Should I put him back at the other school? I dont wanna confuse him with all the switching. Im so worried about him and I dont know what to do.

So just twice out of the two weeks he's gone he was a little grumpy? I wouldn't worry about that unless it's something that occurs every time at preK.
I think maybe he's still adjusting. He told you he likes it so sounds happy. Ask the teacher if something set him off? Maybe a change in activity?
DS was always morning for preschool and this year for PreK he's in the afternoon. I was worried of the change, but he actually adjusted well. It's still early in the school year so wait it out.

Grumpy for a few minutes on 2 days? I don't think that's anything abnormal. Kids aren't always happy all the time, kwim?

I'm grumpy a lot more than that!
