WWYD? Naps

I have a doctor's appt at 1:10.

Chelsea usually naps from 11:45 to 2ish. Should I keep her awake and put her down when we get home?

Risk: Her going ballistic at the doctor's office

or

Try to get her to go down earlier (usually not sucessful) and only have her nap for a short time.

Risk: She will not go down for a nap when we get home and will be cranky the rest of this rainy day.

WWYD?

Cancelling the doctor's appt is not an option.

Re: WWYD? Naps

I have put DS down for a shortened nap, so at least he gets some rest and then deal with whatever happens for the rest of the day. Most times he's just been a bit of a crankpot in the afternoon, but not too bad Chat Icon

Re: WWYD? Naps

I would try to put her down a little earlier.

When I have to put him down earlier I try really really hard to wear him out by running around in the yard with him. I know on a day like today it is hard though.

Maybe she will want to take advantage of this sleepy day and nap later on though. It is dark and gloomy out.

Good luck! Chat Icon

I would try earlier (like now!)

But if it doesn't work, my plan b would be to bring a bizillion snacks and the stroller to the doctor's appointment

OR

drop her off here (seriously)
