WWYD? Car seat safety related..

A FB friend of mine posted photos of his daughter in her car seat. The chest clip is buckled at her waist the the straps are very loose, sitting off her shoulders even in a puffy jacket.

Would you assume that he was going to tighten it up before they got going?

And would you say something to him (via private message)? Just like a polite FYI...

I usually share on my wall the "Car-seat.org tip of the day" and that usually will tell people why. Maybe try "liking" them and then sharing the tip on bulky clothing.. then maybe message her asking if she saw it...

coats can allow too much slack in a harness or seatbelt. A simple
solution for those living in cold climates is to remove the child's
coat, buckle him in snuggly, then place the coat on like a blanket. The
child can even wear the coat "backwards" in the car after buckling up!

Either that or just a brief message, try doing it in a way like "OMG she's gotten so big! She's adorable! BTW, I just learned that bulky coats can be dangerous.. I had no idea and thought I would pass it on, I know how hard it is keeping these kids safe!"
