WWYD Bedroom set question
I bought 2 dressers and a convertible crib for my children when they were born. Now I want to make them into big kid rooms, problem is the cribs only convert into toddler beds and my DD is ready for a twin. The furniture is Bonavita and it doesn't appear that they sell additional pieces for a twin or full size bed. I'm going to have same problem with my son's set.
Would you get all new white furniture, try to find a headboard that matches her dressers or go with a metal frame? I was thinking maybe a daybed if I went with metal with the second bed that tucks under it.
Please feel free to post some pictures or other suggestions!!

If you don't want to replace all the furniture - I'd do an Upholstered headboard. I like them more than metal ones. They come in twin.

I had a similar predicament- we ended up getting her a new set of white furniture. I was only able to justify giving away the crib and dresser because my brother and SIL are expecting and were very grateful to get her old furniture (which was still in great shape.) Emma had such a small room and the lighter furniture really makes a difference in that respect also.
BUT I love the upholstered headboards- and I love the look of iron/brass headboards too.

I was able to match our wood very closely. It took some searching but I found a twin bed to match. I'd go wrought iron if I couldn't find a match. I love the look of the upholstered but I think it's impractical for a childs room.
BTW Some crib companies like Munire make matching twin beds that you can buy to complete the set. My DS's crib converts to a full size which is too big so I will be ordering the matching twin frame to his set.

We have that set in white. I plan on getting the matching night table and doing a fabric head board. I think they are much more comfortable than a wooden one any way.

I don't think you'll have much trouble matching the wood to a new head board. It probably your cheapest option. It would be a shame to waste the dressers you have.
Then again if you get a new white set you can add other pieces down the rd like a desk.

I would get a fabric, leather or iron bed. I like your idea of an iron daybed with a trundle bed - they are super convenient for sleepovers.
I wouldn't splurge on all new furniture...

i would keep dressers and go with upholstered or iron.
