WWYD?
I went to my regular doctor for some lingering pain I'm having as a result of my car accident last month. I have a hairline fracture in my sternum, which makes it hard to pick things up, bend down, sneeze, cough, breathe, sleep, etc. My forehead is still tender from where I hit the door and got a concussion. He prescribed me some more pain killers. I mentioned to him that we are TTC. He gave me a PG test in the office (it was negative - not a shock) and told me that I shouldn't actively TTC while on these meds. I am in the 2WW (like 1 day into it). Should I take the pain meds and risk any potential harm to anything that *might* be there, or should I deal with the pain until the 2WW is over?
It's not a debilitating pain - just enough to let me know it's there (and see stars at times)

Re: WWYD?
i'm a big believer in two things with regards to this:
1. You NEVER know if you will be pregnant or not - so DO NOT deal with pain that you don't have to.
2. The best environment for a baby is a HEALTHY MOMMY....so - take the meds, get better faster and move onto next month.

I 100% agree with Jess. Take the pain meds, get better, and then TTC. Feel better.
