WWYD??

At the grocery store this afternoon I noticed this little old lady staring at me funny. I figured it was because I was out in my pj'sChat Icon Chat Icon .

So I push my cart near hers to reach for something and she stops what she is doing looks at me and hands me a piece of paper with her number on it.

She tells me that she is a psychic and she can reads people.
She tells me that she can feel angels around me and that they have a message for me. I need to listen.

I am just staring at her, kind of in shock and a little creeped out, and she says I know it sounds odd but please call me.

I put the paper in my bag. I feel so weird I can't explain it. I believe in spirits and such but I just don't know what to think about this.

Would you call her?

Re: WWYD??

It's a regular 516/631 number? I would call. She might tell you something interesting, she might just be looking to get money from a reading. I think it's worth it.

It's a 631 number. She told me where she lives too. Nearby me. I think I may call her and feel her out. I am not giving her any kind of money.

Hey maybe she can tell me when my stimulus check is coming. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I wouldn't call. I have had people come up to me- but if they are real and not trying to make a buck on you- they say it to you right then and there. I had a masseuse say that to me once after a massage.

If she wants you to call her, she is looking for $

Re: WWYD??

I would call.

My cousin had a similar experience the psychic told her my aunt (my cousin's mom) was sick and needed to be checked out. Specifically the chest area.

Well, long story short - my cousin convinced my aunt to go for a check up and shortly there after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

This person was a COMPLETE stranger.

If it's a local number, as you said, call, you've got nothing to lose.

If you're really nervous about calling her from your home (in light of Caller ID and such) call from your cell phone.

Let us know how it goes if you call!

Re: WWYD??

i've had somebody do something similar to me when i was in college and young and stupid.
she came up to me at like a 7-11 and said that i had an "aura" and she could "feel something around me" , and for $5 she would "Read me" and tell me more about what she saw.
i fell for it, gave her $5, and she didn't really tell me anything.
next thing i know, shes in line paying for her stuff with my $5 bill.
BUT, in this case where the lady gave you a business card and didn't ask you for any money or anything... i might call just out of curiosity.

Re: WWYD??

I wouldn't be able to NOT call. call her and see what she says. If she asks for money don't give it to her.

You have nothing to lose. I'm big into psychics. Go for it. Keep us updated!

I agree with the posters that said they wouldn't call.

If this helps in your decision at all, my friend's husband met John Edward (the guy on TV). John said something about being able to read people & then sheepishly asked if my friend could tell his cousin Happy Birthday from his mom (who passed away years earlier). My friend didn't know it was his cousin's birthday at all.

I agree - if they're looking to pass on a message, they'd just do it. They don't phone call. They would do it then.

Re: WWYD??

If she was any good, she would have told you right then and there. It's one thing if you are seeking out a psychic... but when they seek you, seems like a scam.
