as long as I had everything I needed, no.
if you are really worried, can a family member stay with your wife and the girls.
as long as you have a good support system, I think you are fine to make merry and your girls (all 3 of them) will be fine.
ETA: never mind. tell them to air mail you a doggie bag have a nice white weekend with your family!

I left early to beat the rush hour and on my way home, got an email on my BB that the party had been cancelled, so I don't feel bad because I am not missing out 
Glad it all worked out in the end. DH is on his way for the past hour and a half to his company party in StonyBrook.
