Spent 45 minutes cooking dinner amidst cries of hunger and dodging requests for various snacks all for them to eat no more than two bites of dinner. It's beyond exhausting! I enjoyed a few minutes peace while they took turns sweeping up (yay!) before it turned into a fighter over the broom. I'm going to relax for 15 minutes before we get them ready for bed and hope nobody cries from hunger as soon as we tuck them in. Then I'm pouring some wine! I Hope you get to relax tonight!

Yes, I love the few minutes a day when ds just splashes in his bath (if he's in a good mood, that is) and I can just sit and watch him and not have to chase him. And yes, I thought I had it rough with 1 child, and now I see having 2 is a whole new level of tough! Now I give credit to those with more than 2!

Ugh, hold onto that peace while it lasts! Soon LO is going to figure out that they can stand, run, and climb in the tub. I think I pulled a muscle in my leg bathing my one year old last week!
But I know what you mean- I practically fall into bed at the end of the day and sleep like the dead!

I think whoever or whatever was in control of me getting pregnant knew to space it out even though that wasn't what I "planned" in my mind.
When I had DS, my DD was 4. It has been the PERFECT age gap. DS turns 2 in June and my DD is 6 and I have never had to deal with jealousy or juggling 2 babies/infants/toddlers.
