wow what a day for a shower
it certainly "showered"   
our shower was great, my mom and sister did an amazing job and I was so thankful that all of our family and friends braved the storm to shower our  with so many great gifts.
It was at Hemingways in Wantagh and everything from the food, to favors (by the Sugar Chic) to flowers were amazing. We got most of our bigger items and a closet FULL of clothes (half being METS attire - I think DH has done a great job letting everyone know that our will be a fan  )
Ill post pics once I get some.
After, we had our family over for dinner - just as the weather started getting really bad. lights flickered the whole time and just as we were about to sit down to eat, the power went out. It came back on and then out again for the night just as everyone was getting ready to leave.
there are trees down all over our community, i think the south shore got hit pretty hard  
my sister arrived home to a flooded apartment last night  so for her would appreciated  
I hope all the other 3/13 girls had a great day. It was a shower day I wont forget We must have some lucky little ones coming!
