Would you introduce a new food on antibiotics?
DS is on his 3rd day of antibiotics for an ear infection - he's almost 5 months. He's only eating rice cereal, oatmeal, and banan for now. Ped said pears and apples was ok, unless he gets upset stomach from medicine - he's been ok so far. He'll be on the meds for another week. Should I wait to introduce anything new or give it another few days and introduce pears?

DS had an allergic reaction a few months ago while he was on antibiotics. He had been on it for 5 days when he broke out in a rash. I realized after that I had also given him tuna fish that day. I'm still not sure if it was the antibiotics or the tuna. I have to try the tuna again to see. From personal experience, I would wait.
