Would you get this if you had limited space in your apt?
We are expecting #2 next month and finally starting to think about setting up our apt. We have everything already (crib, pack n play, swing, bouncer, etc).
The one thing we don't have that I've heard people rave about on here is this FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper. I don't think they had this 2 yrs ago when I had DS#1.
Would you get this if you had limited space in a 2 bedroom apt?

not if I already had a swing and a bouncer.
in lieu of one of the above I would get it. but not in addition to. and our apt is a decent size. still wouldn't get it.

Yes! DD slept in this thing for months. She wouldn't sleep anywhere else (except on me.)

I was considering getting rid of the crib and using just the pack n play and this FP rocker thing.
We plan to move sometime this summer so it would be for ~5 months or so.

YES!! We are in a 2 bedroom & DS used that thing everyday until he was 4 months. It was a place for him to sit & nap that was upright. We never had a swing, hated the bouncer at first & wasn't big enough to us his jumperoo until 4 months od. It was a life saver for us. You can fold it up & slide it under your bed when you don't want it to be seen.
forgot to mention that you can slide it from room to room. I love it, can you tell?

No. Not if I had all that other stuff.
Maybe, just maybe if my LO hated all those other things and I was desperate to find something, I'd might get it. But that would be the only way.

hmmm good point. DS#1 napped often in his swing but usually we'd rock him to sleep in our arms at night.

No, we are in a small apartment and have just a swing and a bouncy chair for DS.
He doesn't even like the swing so that gets no use. Wish we could return it but the box has been long gone.
Every baby is different - thats one thing I have def learned. What one child loves does not mean your child will.
I would wait and see what your DC will like with what you have.
Do you know anyone who has one & not using at the time? I have borrowed alot from friends (we keep them at my moms since she watches DS during the week). I don't feel guilty if he only uses it a few times or not at all because I give them back to my friends.

None of my friends have this.
We have more stuff than most of our friends. Their apts still look like adult apts while our apt is cluttered with kids stuff galore.
We had a 3 bedroom house in the suburbs when DS#1 was born though. Maybe if we started off in a small apt, we'd have less stuff and our apt wouldn't look so cluttered.

no, we didn't use it in place of a crib just as a placeto nap & hang out in. He slept in the PNP at night unril he was 3 months.

I have this for my son (who suffers from reflux). It is the best thing ever. Very transportable/lightweight/folds for easy storage. Yes, yes, yes. I am keeping him in it for as long as I can (and he's 5.5 months old).

Yes...iI live in a 2 brm apt and we have that it folds and you can put it anywhere...I have a swing and bouncer too...I use thisf or naps and to feed her rice cereal. Its also great when your going to someones house too.

I had a horrible sleeper. I would've bought anything that could've gotten him to sleep in something other than my arms. I'm definitely buying that when we have another DC b/c I will do whatever I can to have a better sleeper.
If space is an issue, I'd probably wait to see how DC sleeps. It may not be necessary.

haha me too! I had a crib and an expensive cosleeper but we ended up using this religiously. I was so upset when we had to move him into something bigger. IMO it is SO worth it! It easily folds up into a narrow space too.

I love this product and keep it next to my bed for my DD to sleep in. If I was in an apt. or a home that was one floor I wouldn't get it if I had a swing and bouncy. My DD sleeps just as well in the swing...but ours is downstairs so this is helpful for us.

I forgot to mention it's great to travel with. Anytime we go to anyone4 house we bring it with us cause it's a place where we can safely have DS nap without the bukliness of a pnp. And frankly its just easy to fold and go.
