Would you? Could you? This wallpaper?
I just saw this wallpaper at Target and OMG - I think Im in love with it for the nursery. Just one wall. We are doing our team  nursery in Brown/Grey/Orange:
Stuff we already have:
Paint - Behr Anonymous (not my room obviously but the color)
Bedding:
Lighting:
Then the orange one on the ceiling
with 3 of these around it (not lit, mini 6" ones)
Rug:
Drapes:
PILLOWS:
Craigslist dresser that Im repainting to look like this:
Other accessories:
Plan on making this DIY mobile out of paint chips, an embroidery hoop and some fishing wire but in orange/grey/brown.
Ikea spice rack into a bookshelf painted orange like this to match the dresser:
this was my inspiration bc I know sometimes people have trouble picturing grey/orange and brown together.
So would you do one wall in the wallpaper or too much?

yeah, Im OK with that. Im not a girly girl at all, so my whole house tends to look like this. Its all reds and browns and golds and oranges.
I dont think grey or orange speak to one or the other. Plus I hate team green having to always been yellow or green or beige, none of which are my style at all.
So Im really not unsure about the color palette at all, just the wallpaper.

in that case... i think the wall paper would be great for one wall. like an accent wall. I think it would be very busy if it were all the walls.. but one wall will have a nice effect.

my DH is going to KILL me if you ladies encourage me - "btw honey, you have a million other things to do to get the nursery better, but Ive just added hangin wallpaper to that"
HAHAHA! I love it though. Id do it on the wall that there is a big picture window on, so really there is only like 3' of wall to the left of it and maybe 1.5' to the right of it so even the one wall isnt a whole lot of actual wall space.

I kind of feel like it would be nice to do one other colored wall, like throw an orange wall in there with the other grey walls, but the wallpaper might be a little too much. I don't know, maybe I am just having a hard time seeing it all together. It cound end up being one of those things where it's finished and you're like WOW, I'd have never have tried that, it looks GREAT....or it could be a little too much. I can't decide!

this is kind of where I am too. I was thinking maybe paint and put the room together first. Then if I think it could use it, I can tell better.

First of all I think this room is going to look awesome!! Totally not what I would have ever gone with or thought of, but I love it! With that said I have to agree that maybe the wall paper may be too much since you have so many cool accessories. Maybe wait till the end when you have everything else in place and then decide....oh and please post pics, cant wait to see it!

I agree..I think all the different shapes is what is making me think it will be too much.
ETA: Maybe set up the whole room and then buy it, hold it up to the wall and if it does not look too busy go for it?

i think this is the way to go, the wait and see route. As much as I love it, I dont want anyone to get vertigo walking into the room.

awww, thanks! Im excited about it! With DS we did a gender neutral yellow room with a matchy matchy set, and its just not us and I never loved it, so we decided to try something different this time around.
Everything is from Target (bedding), Ikea (drapes and to be seen spice rack into book rack), Overstock.com (3 drawer table, rug, baskets, heart pillow), LampsPlus.com (orange lamp), Etsy (ruffle pillow), polka-dot-market.com (paper lanterns), and a Craigslist dresser ready to repaint.

i love the wallpaper.. but as soon as i saw what you have for bedding and then the pattern of the rug, i thought it might be a bit too much having all those bold patterns together in the room
maybe you could use it as another accent on the back wall of a shelf, or inside the closet, or even on the bureau - something like that?
great color scheme by the way!
