Re: would you book

yes, I would.
I might hold off on a trip to a place like Africa only b/c you need malaria shots, but New Orleans or anywhere in America would not be missed.

Sure!

Is it something that you really want to do?

I've been trying for about a year - I would have missed out on so many trips if I had limited myself to "what ifs".

Go for it and have a wonderful time - AND if it turns out your ARE pregnant, it will be a happy blessing. You'll just have to stay away from those hurricanes on Burbon street!

Re: would you book

absolutely. people travel when pregnant all the time. you don't want to NOT plan the trip...and god forbid you're not pregnant at that point, then you'll really regret not having the vacation!

go for it!

Re: would you book

I am going on an all inclusive vacation in May and months ago I was like lets put off ttc but thank goodness I changed my mind, it takes longer to get pregnant than most people think.

I say book it!

Although, I have put off booking vacations for Nov or Dec just bc if I get pregnant this month then I would have to cancel.

Re: would you book

Yes! DH and I are booking a trip to Italy this summer and I hope to be pregnant by then!

AND...my good friend travelled to Mexico with us for a wedding in her 6th month and her dr said it was fine. She was so glad that she went!

Re: would you book

I would, sure.

I try not to put things on hold, because you just never know and if you could miss out on a lot and it just adds to the stress.

Now, if it was Mardi gras, I would probably pass. For a regular trip you would probably still enjoy, just no drinking if you are pregnant.

Re: would you book

Yes- definitely. I don't plan on changing much in case it takes longer than expected to get PG. We're going to Vegas forour one year anniversary in August. if I'm PG, then I just won't drink. If I'm still not by then, then we'll party and have a great time.
Worse case scenario, if you get PG and are unable to fly, I would get trip insurance.
