Would you be upset?
I don't know if i'm p i s s e d or just think its rude...but i see it happening more and more....
My daughter is almost 3 months - and a few of my friends still haven't come to see the baby - which is fine - i understand they are busy and want to give us some time to "adjust" before they visit etc...
Well - I haven't spoken to a particular friend in alittle less than a month - and I get an email the other day about when is the best time she could come over to see the baby etc. and to let her know.... She says she is so busy at work in the email - but still has the time to send jokes all day? Just wanted to mention i've called this friend more than a few times after I gave birth to say hello etc....
What ever happened to picking up the phone and asking me or calling to see how we are doing? This situation has happened to me more than a few times - and i think its so wierd - i understand if its someone you speak to often and you know they check their emails often etc.... but still.....it just doesn't seem genuine to me.
Am i overreacting?

Re: Would you be upset?
I have some friends that just stopped calling me after I had Julia, its sad but what can you do. I just look at it like I guess they really werent my true friends to begin with. I have a couple of good friends that always call me to see how Julia and I are all the time, some have babies of there own so we have play dates. I guess your friend wants to see you but knows you have a baby now, and that things are going to be different and have less things in common with you now...

Re: Would you be upset?
Honestly, while a phone call would be nicer, I'd appreciate that she's making SOME sort of effort.
