Leave a 10 month old baby in the crib for 5 minutes while you went to unload your car in the front of the house in a very safe, area. Baby is awake and playing in crib.

Re: Would you

Babies spend 10 hours+ in a crib while the parents are in various areas of the house, often unconscious (aka sleeping). I don't see an issue with having them in the crib while you are getting stuff out of your car in your yard.

Yeah- I mean my washer/dryer is in the basement- no worse than that! But I would make triply sure the door was unlocked since sometimes the wind catches it and shuts it behind me.

Yes - but you need to be confident in your own choices and not what random people on a website think.

Re: Would you

Yes, I would. At that age, I probably would have just left him in his infant car seat until I was done unloading the car.

Without. I barely ever used a monitor for my DS after 6 months.

Same here. I do yard work and sit in my backyard while my dd naps...I lock the front door and honestly don't think twice about it.

Re: Would you

Yes, either with or without a monitor. But since I have one I would probably have it in my pocket. If I didn't have one or it wasn't charged I would do it anyway.

I wouldn't even think twice. I bring in the car seat and then unload the rest of my car. I put him in his bouncy seat while I sower and he's in his crib all night while I'm asleep.
