On my way too my manicure today I nearly rear-ended someone while looking at my nails trying to decide which color to choose

Yea, I believe that!
If they had a category for worst drivers in the world, I would say Spaniards. When I was in Spain, every time we took a taxi- we thought it was our last moment alive. I swear, they drive CRAZY in Europe!

Jersey is bad but nothing is like here- I grew up in Jersey and moved here about 12 years ago- people in jersey are more courteous- they will wave to let you in front of them- if you do that here, its taken for weakness & they'll cut you off

I have driven in other states recently, and wished i was back in NY, Florida by far was the worst drivers, everyone talks on their cell phones(legal there) and drives about 100 mph on 95 and the florida turnpike.
There are so many accidents adn their car insurance is more money than in NY.
I have a friend from FL, and when she was growing up, she knew 15 of her friends who died on the roads down there.

AZ is like that too! The highway by my ILs has a speed limit of 75!!!

I hate driving in NY. It scares the crap out of me. I have driven in Boston, and thats bad too. But I think the NY area is worse. Actually I think Long Island is the worst! Upstate isn't bad at all.
ETA: jersey drivers are also HORRIBLE!!

OMG they should go to Italy - seriously, they see nothing wrong with TOUCHING the bumper in front of them, going down one way streets, squeezing down streets that are too narrow for cars.
Going up to my town - you go around a volcano with NO guard rail at 100 MPH, I always have to close my eyes, it is so scary!
In Naples, a cabbie went into oncoming traffic like it was nothing!

I saw this! Last week, we were in Rome- there were tiny cars parked bumper to bumper. I have a picture of it. And when we were in the Amalfi Coast, we were on a bus driving along the coast. I swear, I thought a tiny Peugot was going to go SPLAT. It cut off our bus like nothing. CRAZY.
