Working until when ?
I am hoping to work until the very last minute - pending I still feel good.
I work in a hospital so I can just go upstairs to deliver, I suppose I am in the best place I could be in.
What week are you working until?

with my dd...I worked up until I was 38 weeks....I know many who have worked right until they went into labor

with dd i worked til 39 weeks. I had her 4 days after my last day of work.
This pg, i am home, so it's just a matter of coordination for someone to watch DD.

with my son I worked the day I got admitted and had him the next day.
This one will be scheduled so I will work till the day before. (I will be working from home at that point)

I am working until 37 weeks. I am being induced at 39 weeks. My disability pays me for 2 weeks prior to delivery so my last day of work is March 8th, delivery date is March 22nd.

No idea....I've been feeling pretty lethargic by the time the end of the day comes and I'm only 22 weeks now....so I'm guessing I won't be working up until the end.
I see no reason to push myself to work up until the end. (i do have the advantage of unlimited sick time though)

Me too, unfortunately. In an ideal world, I'd love to stop 1-2 weeks before, to relax & do last minute preps at home (and, so I don't go into labor at work  ), but I want as much time at home w/the baby after he/she is born before I have to go back to work, so I don't want it to cut into my FMLA time. I want a full 12 weeks with the baby, it won't be long enough as it is

I am due April 2nd and will most likely stop working the first week in March. I am also not going back to my job after I give birth though. I am 31 1/2 weks now so I guess that would put me around 35 wks.

I work in a hospital too and worked up until I was supposed to be induced. It really depends on how demanding your job is, but nurses who have it the worst do it all the time. FM me if you want to talk more about my experience.
ETA: I am so happy I worked until the end - it saved my sanity!

When co-workers ask me I say whenever the kid decides to come out. I'm not eligible for FMLA bc I missed my 1yr by 4 weeks. So I need to save my vacation to add to the 6 or 8 weeks allowed by the state.

I worked the day I delivered! (I wanted to save every minute of my maternity leave to be with DD) I work ina dental office. I woke up with mild contractions and went into work. My boss still tells everyone what a great employee he has because of it haha. I worked from abpout 9am till 1 and then went home, got ready and went to the hospital - - DD still wasnt born till 11:30 that night.

I am scheduled for a c/s on March 2, so unless I go into labor before then, my last day of work will be March 1.

I am most likely going to be induced on April 19th (38 weeks) so I think I am going to work until the 17th or so.
I get nervous about the commute into the city as well, but he is a FDNY EMT and told me to tell them I have to go to my hospital to see my doctor and tehy will take you, as long as the baby's head isn't like, out.
