Working Out?
Are you planning on workout out when you're pregnant? Have you already started? Share your workout plan!!
I can't imagine wanting to do the elliptical or kickbox or anything like that!

Working Out?
I workout about 5 days a week. I do cardio and weighs. I take classes here and there. I haven't been pregnant yet but plan n working out when I am preg. I will most likely walk and do weights.

Re: Working Out?
I work out roughly 4 times a week some combination of spin, running, elliptical and an exercise class that i like. I did them all while i was preg with my first and hope to continue when i become preg with my second.
It was really hard to work out the first trimester but i did pretty good the second and third. Exercising keeps me sane.

Re: Working Out?
I never really worked out pre-pregnancy, during my pregnancy, post-pregnancy and dont really work out now while TTC.
That said, I was very active pre-pregnancy and walked miles every day. I kept it up while pregnant and didn't have any issues.
It would be nice if I had an exercise routine in place now that I would continue when I hopefully get pregnant again. It would also be nice to have a money tree in my backyard, or 8 hours of sleep every night.

Working Out?
I wish I had room for a treadmill or elliptical at home, but they're just HUGE. I feel like you need a whole room for one!

I have a fold up treadmill and I fold it up when not in use. It saves a lot of space. You can get a compact fold up.

Working Out?
Like, under the bed fold up, or still have to have wall space to store it fold up?

Re: Working Out?
Crashing.
I was very active before getting pregnant (i'm 36w). My plan was to 1. work at my 2nd job until I started showing (I dance at parties.. not THAT type of dancing lol) and 2. To workout through my entire pregnacy. My intentions were good and I was 100% sure I could keep up with my typical schedule.
HA! During my 1st trimester I was so sick (more then just nausea) and tired there was NO WAY I could have continued to dance and workout like I did. However, each person is different. I have been walking here and there and doing prenatal yoga since 19w or so. Now into my 3rd trimester walking is tougher and i'm limited to what I can do even in a prenatal yoga class. However, I know people who were running 2+ miles daily well up until their due date.
My suggestion, do what you can and what feels right. If it doesn't feel right then stop.

Ditto. At the very least I want to do prenatal yoga. I figured it would hopefully help with the birth to get my body ready a bit more.

Re: Working Out?
Crashing....
I worked out my whole pregnancy...even thru the 2ww. I did the elliptical and ran 2 miles and then 1 mile when I got to month 7. I continued to walk and stopped at month 8. I'm all belly and didnt get swollen feet or face. I totally think its because I remained active the whole time.
The doctors all told me that if you were working out before you got pregnant, u can still continue doing exactly what u were doing before.
