working moms whose parents watch kids
My MIL watches 2yr old DS when DH and I work during the school year. I would like DS to have opportunities to socialize with other kids during the day. I was wondering if any of you know of a grandma group like the stroller clubs or mommy and me programs for sahm? If not I was hoping to start one in the Bay Shore area....I know my MIL could use some peer playdate time also

My mom and MIL watch DD during the week for us. They both take her to classes at the library. There's also Music Together:
Music Together - Babylon, Bellmore and Massapequa

When MIL was just watching my son, I found Grandparents and me classes at our library (Farmingdale). Maybe your library has something. The music together classes are good too. MIL would also take him to the park a lot.

I take DS to CFA in SMithtown and they said that many grandmas bring the kids to their groups.
