Im at 37.5 weeks now and still working-- it was sooo hard to come back to work after being home for 4 days and I feel totally checked out from work. BUT I plan on working until I am 39 weeks-
My due date is Dec 16th, play on making my last day Dec 9th.

I've been working from home 3 days and going into the office 2 days from 31 weeks... am 36 and change now and this is my last full week of work.

I will be taking my remaining 2 weeks of vacation and then will go on maternity leave the week of my due date. I plan to be out for 3.5- 4 months. SO EXCITING.

I hope that next pregnancy I can make it going into the office until 35/36 weeks but we'll see. This time around the baby was SO low and was in SO much pain that it hurt so bad to sit at the desk. Being home I am much more comfortable sitting on my birth ball while I work and being able to get up and stretch every half hour.

I was at work when my OB asked me to go to the hospital. I was hospitalized that day and had him the next. He was a preemie (31w6d) due to preeclampsia.

So I worked right to the end, although the end came much sooner than anyone thought. My plan was to work until the end anyway and my bosses understood that I might stop working at 38 or 39 weeks, depending on how I felt.

This time, I am hoping to work until the bitter end, barring any complications.

I plan on working right up until the end. I don't want to use up any days that I can spend with my baby.

I'm only part time, with no benefits, so it really doesn't matter how long I work or until when. I do plan on working until the end of February at least, provided all goes ok. I am due March 14th. I work 10 minutes from home and I am a desk job.

This is my 1st pregnancy so I really have no clue what to expect, but my goal is to work as long as I possibly can as long as I don't have any complications.

For #1, my midwives put me out two weeks before my due date, then DS was two weeks late, so I had a month of STD before he even arrived --- but then my disability claim was denied by my insurance company.

For #2, I had several bouts of false labor during the last month so my boss let me work from home the last two weeks before my due date. I stopped working from home on a Friday, DS was born on Sat AM.

For this one, I'm a WAHM and have my own company so I think I'm working right up until DS arrives --- no real choice!

This is my first, but I plan to work right up until the end. I only have about 7 weeks of time accrued, so I will be taking 5 weeks unpaid already since I plan to take 12 weeks off.

I worked until 40w1d.

I started doing one day a week from home around 30 weeks and then upped it to 2 days at 36 weeks.

By 38 weeks I was working solely from home.

I worked til the day before with my 1st (I went into labor at exactly 39 weeks). I called them from the hospital to let them know I'd not be coming in the following week.

Will do the same with my second.

Honestly, I commute 90 minutes total a day & do a very stressful job... but with limited physical activity.

If there was more physical activity, I'd be off early.... but I'm trying to save up & extend my leave WITH the baby as long as possible.

With my first (twins) I worked up until 33 weeks and had to stop because I was having issues just walking. I had them at 36 weeks.

With my second (single) I worked up to 38 weeks and had him at 39 weeks. I did work from home the last week though.
