Word of advice to home coffee drinkers...
It helps to put the carafe, cup, mug or any other receptacle under the drip in your coffee maker when you are brewing it as you do your hair and make up in the morning.
I, for one, neglected to carry out this one step this morning and walked into a murky mess in my kitchen all over the counter top and the floor. If ever I had a "DOH" moment, it was today. Thank you and you may mock me - but nicely.
Have a GLORIOUS Memorial Day weekend.

I declined to tell DH. He lives for these moments. I consider myself to be fairly intelligent, though not quite MENSA-ish. He prides himself in having an IQ 10 points higher than mine.

DH is in charge of coffee in our house. One morning we woke up to a fresh brewed pot of water. I guess that's what happens when you set up the coffee maker at midnight.
