Wondfo evap line question

Are the chances for getting an evap line higher with wondfo brand? My Dr said yes, but a few girls on here said not so much as FRER or ept..

Wondfo evap line question

I just got these in the mail yesterday. I'm confused too bc the control line is dark but there is another lower area that seems to have a pinkish tinge to it. I saw mixed reviews on the Internet on whether or not they are good. I am due for AF today and woke up with a little tan DC, sorry tmi. I tried to get HPTst dollar store but they were out! I hear those a good too. So frustrating!!!

Wondfo evap line question

I've never noticed an evap line with the Wondfo's. If you had seen even a light line below the control line, take FRER!!!

Re: Wondfo evap line question

YES! I hate them and will never buy them again. 2 months in a row I thought I saw a faint line, took pics and all. Wasted FRER after that and got nothing but AF.

The dollar store ones are better. Not as cheap, but I have never gotten an Evap line on those. A BFN is bright white even after the time limit is reached.

I wonder if you had a bad batch, I've NEVER once noticed an evap line on mine! I almost always see evap lines on FRER, even within the 10 minute deadline (from my many years of hoping NOT to see that second line, lol).

I don't know if I did but I won't chance it again. It's heartbreaking getting excited thinking this is it, just to be let down. I am now anti IC hpt lol

And yes, I've seen evaps on FRER recently as we'll. I don't know wtf they are doing with their tests.

Re: Wondfo evap line question

I have been having sore boobs, thirst, basically symptoms I should not be paying attention to!! But I took a wondfo and there was a line after like 5 minutes. Retook this am and neg so it must have been a fluke test. I'm only ab 7dpo anyway so I'm not stressing it!

Wondfo evap line question

I have never gotten an evap line on the wondfo either. I used them religiously when TTC. When I would do it though (since I bought like stock in them), I would pee in a cup and try two tests. When both tests (and a dollar store test) came up + then I went out and bought a digital. I know it's a lot of tests but I didn't want to waste money on a digital until I ABSOLUTELY knew I needed one.

the Wondfo's say on there specifically not to look after 5 minutes - for some reason it's different from others where they say after 10 minutes, but I've looked at them hours later and still never saw any evap line...

I have been using them for months and never had one either. That's why I'm thinking fluke test.

Re: Wondfo evap line question

Ive used wondfos tons of times and never had an evap line. Are you sure you are looking in the right spot? there is an area on the strip where it bulges out and there is a seam -- color can gather there but that isnt where the second line is supposed to be. I have looked at Wonfdos 5, 10, 30, min and even hours and days after testing and never saw an evap line. They also gave me my BFP when a dollar store test still showed BFN.

Yes, I unfortunately use them to test out my trigger so I know exactly where that beady little line should be. Just wondering how common they were bc I never got Evaps but my dr said its common with cheap tests. I guess the boards are 50/50 with this one!

I never had a line on a Wondfo until I got a BFP. BUT, you have to read them right away. It's inaccurate to wait which is why you might have seen an evap, but more likely a shadow line.

It's really not worth testing out the trigger. You'll drive yourself nuts doing that. Just wait until at least 10dpo (12dpt) and test. It will be out of your system by then.

I meant that I used them in the past to test out trigger. I am not under the care of a RE right now..nor have I been testing. Just asked out of curiosity bc a co worker does not like wondfos along with my Dr but I have never had an evap line. I wonder if the batches can just be off? Anywho, I just ordered a new pack for myself for this 2ww.. I'm currently around 7dpo

Ah, gotcha. Well, 7dpo is way too early for any kind of a line. My point is still the same...sit tight until at least 10dpo. Good luck! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Luckily, the tests are not set to arrive until weds so I have no choice! You know I would be testing if I could. No freaking self control! Chat Icon
