Thanks for the good wishes.

I'm back from the glucose screen, so one task down.

It SUCKED!!!!!

I got there at 8:00 and the waiting room was full. They didn't have my Rx, so I had to call my doc to get it faxed over and by the time they did all that and got to me it was 9:00.

At one point the receptionist called a man into the office and he went inside, so I took his seat (I had been standing).

He came back out a couple minutes later and actually ASKED ME FOR HIS SEAT BACK!!!

Here I am, obviously pregnant, juggling bags and coats and trying to hold my cotton ball in place on my right arm while drinking this disgusting drink and he says "I think you took my seat."

Who does that?

I look at him for a second, thinking he's kidding, but he doesn't budge.

So I go to stand up and some other guy in the room stands up and says "Here. If it's so important to you to sit, sit here and leave her alone." Which I thought was really nice.

All the women in the room gave the other guy dirty looks the rest of the time.

They managed to get the first three sticks without hurting me, but blew my vein on the 4th one so badly that I can barely move my left arm.

Oh, and did I mention I started my day at 6:00 with the dog vomiting all over the bedroom floor....TWICE! I barely cleaned it up without puking myself.

Great start to the week!!!
