Re: WISH LIST
Just time alone with my boyfriend.
That's all I want.
A week on a beach with just him.
Between us we have three kids under ten years old lol so this is likely a pipe dream

Re: WISH LIST
I'm still coveting the Chanel half moon clutch - but the price is obscene.
Aside from some time to myself where i'm not punching a clock and don't have to be anywhere and can just relax ..........

Re: WISH LIST
I have a couple of mini drones, but I really want a 3D printer. I'm waiting until more features come out. Every time I look, another nice feature is added to someone's printer, and the prices have dropped on everyone's printer. Maybe next year, prices and features will stabilize enough to warrant a purchase.

I must ask. Are drones something that regular folks have? What do you do with them? Or are you guys kidding and I didn't get the joke

They're the new remote-controlled cars that kids and adults have had for decades. I've had a remote-controlled helicopter for about 10 years, and they've been popular way before that. It's just the latest iteration.
Right now, I'm just playing with the micro-drones. The kind that fit in the palm of your hand. I got a couple for DC. Under $20 each on Amazon. Nice to fly around indoors, and to get used to the controls.
I bought this one for myself: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QUHOAU8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01
It has a fixed camera, but it's a real-time camera, so you can see what the drone sees while it's flying. You can get cheaper camera drones, but they store the pics/video to a memory stick, and you watch the video after the drone returns, which isn't what I wanted.
It's a nice starter video drone. Nothing special, but cheap enough to experiment with.

Re: WISH LIST
thanks!
i guess i should start off with an inexpensive one and learn how to control it. I mean, it IS possible I can fk up and have the drone crash in the ocean. right?
If its anything like those helicopters you buy at the mall, im screwed lol

Yeah, I would start out with a $20-$30 version, just to get used to them. There's a lot of things to control. Up/Down, Rotate Right/Rotate Left, Forward/Backward, Tilt Left/Tilt Right. Not quite as simple as an RC car...
Make sure you get the prop guards that go around the propellers. That lets you bang into walls without damaging the blades.
