Wireless Service
My Cellphone won't charge anymore & I need a new one.
I have Cingula/ATT Family plan with DH. We pay about $88 a month
I had my stepdad old razor which I loved & to buy a new would be about $80 or I can get a different phone for about $40 after rebates.
We stopped at Verizon and they have a family plan with about the same minutes, unlimited texting (we didn't have that), nights & weekends for $99. Buy 1 phone for $40 & get one free. We'd also then need cases & car charger (at least one).
I have had Cingular for 4 years. How is Verizon service? Any other thoughts?
ETA: For now I had to put my sim card into my old phone (2 phones ago). Can't find the one like my DH's because of the work going on at my house and everything has been moved everywhere!!!

I have had Verizon for 10 years and have never had an issue with the service!
They have a plan for everyone's budget!
ETS: They have FREE LD in the US!!
Also free mobile to mobile if they are w/ Verizon.
PS: I don't work for Verizon and never did!

I have Verizon and am happy with it. DH has Cingular and is happy with it. Most of my family has Verizon so it is free to call them cell to cell. So to me that is worth it. DH got Cingular because at the time they had the best deal. Hope that helps. I feel their service are compatible.

i love verizon. DH and I have had the family plan with them for almost 4 years. I never have a problem with service.

I have had Sprint as long as I have had a cell phone. I have never had any problems with them.
I really like their cell service and their customer service has gotten much better. I always thought the people in the stores were very helpful, it was when you had to call them for customer service - that they could have been better.

I have VZ because I get an employee discount. I don't find them any better or worse than Cingular/AT&T which is what I had before.
Neither has good coverage at my home or the shopping center near my home that I'd like to be able to call from when I want to check with DH if there's anything I should pick up while driving by

I found out that DH also gets an employee discount from Verizon on monthly service & accessories so it is looking better
