Couldn't agree more. DH and I had Nextel for years, and switching to Verizon was one of the smartest moves we have ever made!

I think it depends where you use them. I got much better service from Verizon in Manhattan but DH gets much better service with Cingular at work (Baldwin/Freeport area). We are with cincular since he uses his cell way more then I do.

Verizon by far...I've had everything - Sprint, ATT, Cingular, TMobile, etc...it's worth every single EXtRA penny!

As much as it pains me to say it, Verizon has the best service on LI. I had AT&T which became Cingular, and it wasn't as good.
Verizon even gave me service in my parents summer home small town upstate!!! No one gets service there.....
