Wipe warmer... Yay or NAY
i got one that i originally registered for then i heard that warmers brown diapers and then girls at my shower were saying the are pointless. Should i return it. I mean if im in public i wont have a warmer obvioulsy. just trying to sort things out. Thanks
Edited...due to my major preggo brain i had put diaper warmer instead. Oh my what would i do with myself without you girls.

I don't have one or miss it, but some people love it. My wipes aren't THAT cold without one.

Do you mean a wipes warmer?
We have one for the nursery. It's really good for the middle-of-the-night diaper changes. We love ours. It has an absorbent pad at the bottom that you have to soak with water once a week, but it keeps the bottom wipes from turning brown.

Many of them get recalled because they cause fires. Definitely wasn't worth the risk for us.

Nay - the baby will be used to the warm wipes at home, but when you are out, they will be cold.

i had one for ds # 2 since sil iNSISTED I needed one.... I used it for a little bit, but I felt like it was kinda a germ breeder... not that it matters for something you wipe your butt with... but it just skeeved me...

I say NAY. Emme never cared about a cool wipe and if you want to take the chill out just warm it in your hands. The warmer seemed like too much work.......keeping the water level right and all that. I think it's pointless IMO.

I like it...I'd feel really bad using cold wipes on DS 1st thing in the morning after I take him out of his nice warm PJs...especially in the winter!

yes....loved it for night changings and the baby does not get so used to it that they will scream if you change them while your out or your not around the warmer and need to use cold one.
