winter wonderland theme bday

i am doing a winter animal/winter wonderland theme for ds 1st bday. does anyone have any suggestions? i was thinking of doing a cocoa bar, but what could i use?

If you are having a good amount of kids you could do an igloo building table with sugar cubes and frosting


As for a cocoa bar, maybe you could have different toppings like mini marshmallows, peppermint sticks, chocolate shavings and/or give out mugs as the favor....

I'm doing a winter onederland theme this weekend.
Here are some of my inspiration pics. I'm doing the snowman centerpieces on alternating tables (with pale pink or powder blue scarves). The other CPs will be pink buckets with blue/silver snowflakes on them filed with styrofoam "snowballs" and balloons tied to the handles.
We're doing a brunch at a restaurant, so we're bringing in our own dessert—making a dessert buffet. I'm having a cake that looks a lot like this. I'm making some cupcakes and these snowman cake pops. My cousin is contributing these snowflake mini-cakes from a bakery in NYC. I'm adding powdered donuts or munchkins and different types of white cookies (pfeffernusse and iced oatmeal) and I'm making peppermint bark using pink/blue candy canes.
I made goody bags for the kids from Oriental Trading with all sorts of winter-themed stuff including activity books. The adults are getting hot cocoa cones.
And I'm having an entertainer coming to do a winter-themed sing-a-long with the kids. I would've done a craft table or some such, but most of the kids are a little too young for that.

I was going to do a snowball hunt game--scatter lots of styrofoam balls and have the kids collect them in buckets (like an egg hunt), but I think a lot of the kids, DD included would end up trying to eat the balls. If the kids were a little older, I would've done that.

Ice

Colors: Silver, glittery, blues, turquoise, lavenders

As a favor the cone clear bags with hot cocoa mix & marshmallows
Or
Chocolate dipped plastic spoons (to stir coffee with)

It's a 1 yo, so this is more for the adults? Or are there a lot of kids too?

Caramel, mint, (milk n sugar in bayshore got me into peanut butter, chocolate, & ice cream; so anything can go!), whipped cream, shaved chocolate

Mittens & scarves as decor. tulle & icicle lights
(I hope you were keeping an eye out around/after Christmas)

White branches in glass vases with blue glass marbles for centerpieces.
