"winging it"

if you started off "winging it" what did you consider "winging it" to mean?

Re: "winging it"

i would say, no opks, no temping, not charting your cycle to find out the most likely O time.

Re: "winging it"

dc#1 was a surprise
when we were talking about having #2, i plugged in my info on babyhopes.com and it gave me info regarding my fertile periods.. i marked those on the calendar and kept them in mind that if we wanted to wing it, we can certainly wing it during those days but without really trying..you know, just recreational sex... i had no idea what any of the lingo on these boards meant- like dpo, cm, cd, etc.
i didnt look out for any signs.

when i was pregnant with #2 (which ended in a miscarriage), i had thought my "fertile period" was the following week from the time we had "recreational sex" but it turns out that when i checked my calendar , we had sex during a fertile period.

now i am starting to do more research

Re: "winging it"

we only had sex when we were in the mood to do it and we stopped using birth control

it worked! Chat Icon

i did have an idea of when my "fertile" time would be but we did not plan anything around it - we had recreational sex twice that week and i am guessing that must have been when i conceived

Same. First month I just BD when we felt like it. 2nd month I looked online put in my last AF date to see when I would O based on the computer estimation and just had a crazy week that weekChat Icon . Got my BFP 2 weeks later.

DS was a surprise. I wanted to start trying a few months later but had no concept of TTC really and didnt realize I was BD near my O date.

For us, winging it was what happens, happens. I wasn't estimating my O days or anything. That obviously didn't work for us.

ITA! We just did "winging it" as well 1st time around. Took 5 months, but I JUST got off the pill and my cycle was 39 days. I figured around the time I was gonna O and DH and I just did it a lot that week or so.

Started again last month so hoping it'll work again

I am still sort of doing that. basically for me its Chat Icon whenever and nothing else. I do know the days of my cclye so I try to Chat Icon more from day 11 on, but if it doesn't happen I remind myself I am just going with it

this month I am trying Chat Icon everyday or as much as possible

Re: "winging it"

We are starting in Dec Chat Icon

I have a regular period-ever 27 days. We are going to estimate when I am ovulating and do it on those days. That is how we will go the first cple months.

I may read Deanna's Plan to see what the BEST days are during your cycle. Chat Icon
