Has anyone ever seen "stuff" floating in their wine bottles before they have been open? I see things in a bottle of Chardonnay when I put it upside down and then back up right.
Should I throw it out?

Sediment - perfectly normal, although whites do go bad and don't have the shelf life of reds. Open it up and taste it - you will know if it's bad.

Re: wine experts
DH says the only way to tell it is bad is by opening the bottle.
