Williamsburg, Brooklyn
My BIL lives here & I would like to get him a gift certificate for a good restaurant for Christmas in the area. I know nothing about Willismsburg or Brooklyn. Does anyone have a nice place they'd recommend? Thank you!

Re: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Not sure how close to Williamsburg this is, but it IS in Brooklyn and it is amazing -- The River Café. The views, the food, etc. It is so romantic and so special.

Re: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
destefano's steak house is not too far
fushimi is right in williamsburg if he likes sushi
for old school italian, you have bamonte's restuarant
la piazzetta is a bit more of a walk but a cute small italian place
there's another brand new restaurant across the street from fushimi but i can't remember the name. (i can find out if you want)
the restaurant at the whyte hotel is also nice
edited to add:
patricia's- amazing italian food
giando's on the water is a catering hall, but they do have a restaurant down stairs, it's right on the river with views of the city.

By far my favorite restaurant is Frost (grew up in the area and still frequent this restaurant). Meatball shop is another good one. There is a cheese store and wine store on Bedford Ave so maybe places like that? If he brunches, then i would suggest Juliette.

Re: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
I personally love Acqua Santa!! The food is so good! Sometimes it can be a little slow when they are super busy but it's still worth it in my opinion.
