Why the heck is it lighter today?????

Yesterday i posted pics of my OPK... Asking if it was +.... Well i figured today would be darker and instead it's already lighter???? What the hell is going on? We BD yesterday and Wed. but skipped thursday. (DH fell a sleep) UGH!! Anyway.. I guess then it's safe to assume i probably missed my window of opportunity... YET AGAIN!

The same thing happened to me last month. It is so frustrating. That is why this month I am testing both in the morning and around 6:30 so I don't miss anything this month.

I've been testing between 1:30-3pm everyday for 5 days & I got my smiley (positive) today, CD15. I will BD for the next 3 days then off one then again the next day then wait....
I would BD for the next 2 days if I had a + JMO

Unfortunately, the OPK's are NOT like HPTs where the line keeps getting progressively darker once you have a +.

On an OPK, it doesn't matter HOW dark the test line is if it's negative. The only thing you are looking for is to see if it's positive, meaning it's as dark or darker than the control line.

But if it's negative, you can have an almost dark enough line one day, no line at all the next day, then a light line the next day, etc etc. It will not get progressively darker as you approach your O date. Just keep testing until it's positive. Good luck!!!
