Why is it so hard to get off the couch???

Not because I'm big lol (I'm only 11 weeks this week)... but because I'm queasy and uncomfortable and feel like just staying put is so much safer...

But I've gotta get so much done around the house. The kitchen is a complete wreck and the pots and pans from last week are not washing themselves... that, and I really want to go buy some cottage cheese.

I got home from the gym this morning and sat down on the couch with my lunch and haven't moved since. I keep wondering if my laptop on my lap is a bad idea... but I don't want to move!!

Sorry for the whining... I really hope I feel better in the second trimester...

DH is so unhappy about the state of the house, and I can't blame him. I hate it too, but I just don't have the energy to clean it at all. Blech.

Thanks for listening to me moan ladies... I often wish I had a job because it would force me to get my lazy butt in gear.

I know the feeling I'm a teacher and I'm counting down the days till the summer break so I could sit around and stare at the ceiling!

you're definitely not alone! i am 18 weeks today and i am way too tired half the time to do ANYTHING

i still have my maternity clothes in bags and my "old" clothes hanging in my closet! i can't wear any of them anymore, but i haven't found the time to make teh switch! hopefully i can get it done before the babies come!

I am 6 weeks and that it is hitting!! I feel so Lazy and the house gets messy but my 2 year old does not stop that has been hard but it motivates me... lots of luck feel better soon!

I am glad I am not alone, I am 6+ weeks also and feel exhausted, I have never felt this tired before!

I definitely went through that stage. I felt so horrible that I didn't want to do anything. Luckily it passed at about 11 weeks. Right now I can't get off the couch because I physically can not get off the couch. DH laughs at me when I try to move, but it really is difficult these days.

I'm 9w4d. My apartment looks like complete sh!t. I did some cleaning over the weekend.
I know DH is having a hard time with the apt being messy , but hes been understanding and is actually cleaning, doing dishes..etc.

Today my head is about to hit the desk at work. And I have to go to target after.. I don't want to.... all I want to do is be on the couch.


ETA: I think you're great for having the energy to go to the gym though!!!

I'm very proud to say that after over 3 hours just sitting here, I finally got up, dried my hair, cleaned out the fridge, and took out the garbage!

I reeeeeally need to get to the store now, even though I'd much rather just sit back down and watch more HGTV for the next two hours until DH gets home. Of course, FOOD is motivating me! I'm gonna go buy something delicious!

I'm so glad to know I'm not alone!!!! Thank you ladies!!!

Oh Sandra! Im so with you!! Over the weekend I swear i dont want to get off my couch! It took me 5 days to do 4 loads of laundry because I was to tired and nacreous to do it all at once. My sink is full, atleast the rest of my house is pretty clean but forget about my bedroom as my DH says it looks like a bomb went off!! and now im sitting at my desk, tired, nacreous, not sure if im hungry or need to throw up!!! I keep telling my DH just a few more weeks! Not to mention the fact that Im so neglecting him! I feel bad but hes jut gonna have to wait!!

omg i give you so much credit for going to the gym...you couldnt pay me enough to go to the gym

i actually called out of work today thinking i will do house stuff since i didnt do anything this weekend and all i did was book DS birthday party im such a waste.

I hear ya! I've been a permanent fixture on my couch for weeks--mostly because I've been nauseous. I'm not even that tired. I lay down btwn chores and right after dinner (which only causes heartburn!).

wait till u hit the 3rd trimester...it literally is a real pain to get up off the couch..lol..it hurts!
