stomach virus. need advice
anything i eat or drink comes up. sorry to be graphic. what can i do so i don't dehydrate? i have threw up 9 times since this afternoon.

I wouldn't try to eat anything or drink anything because throwing up will dehydrate you even more than just not drinking. I would try flat coke a tablespoon at a time when you are feeling up to it. Maybe a tablespoon every 20 minutes if you can handle it. Hang in there and feel better!

yes when I dehydrated and went to the hospital believe it or not what they gave me was a cup of FLAT regular COKE to settle my stomach, I had some virus that I couldnt stop throwing up or running to the bathroom, and being dehydrated was extremely painful! I wasnt admitted so no fluids to give me but they sent me home telling me to continue to drink the soda until the vomitting stopped. then to eat crackers, bread and noodle soup for 3 days. if that didnt work I had to go back but it did. oh make sure its warm soda too, not to shock your belly. feel better

Def drink coke w/o the bubbles.
Do you have any gatorade?? If so, drink some. It will help replace the elecrolytes.

My mom used to get coke syrup from the pharmacy
not sure it it was a prescription or what...
it did the trick tho
