Why does this keep happening?
Every time we find a house we are really interested in, its gone before we know it...
I'm not even saying necessarily making an offer, but just a house in a neighborhood that we love, at a price that we love- as soon as well call to get more info: "they've already accepted an offer"
Its so damn frustrating and discouraging...
Its like you get NO time to even go home and talk about it!

Maybe get a real estate agent to help you out - cause they will contact you when a house comes on the market in the area you are looking and the price you are looking.

I know this is prob best-
The listing agents we call- always want our info, and ask if we are working with anyone- so I always say we are interested... We'll get a few emails, but thats about it...
I guess we arent trying hard enough

Re: Why does this keep happening?
It took us a good year to get the house that we really liked and wanted. Just think...it really wasn't the house for you. There is one out there for you...don't worry!!!

I know it's frustrating but keep in mind if you think you found a house in a great neighborhood at a great price....someone else out there feels the same way...so you need to move quickly. I know its hard to make a quick decision, but after seeing a ton of houses and what's out there for the price, you will know when you see something that its for you. Our house had three other offers on it when we made our offer. Good luck and keep your chin up!

Re: Why does this keep happening?
If that keeps happening to you I think you need a real estate agent in the area you want who really wants your business. That way when something new and good comes on the market you'll be the first to look at it. You don't have to pay them, they split the commission with the realtor selling the house that's how we found our house we were the 1st ones to look at it.

Re: Why does this keep happening?
I promise you that more than ever, this is all totally for a reason. Keith and I went through 3 really IN LOVE houses and we are glad we did. One of the houses I wanted so bad was ironically behind the one we just moved into. Well, yesterday they have some of their siding fall off!!! I don't need that added stress. It made me grateful!
Take your time and thank goodness that the obvious things are happening to lead you to the home of your dreams!
Good Luck!!!
