why does DD scream when waking up from a nap?

DD is 5 months old.
When she wakes in the morning she is happy as can be. She even just plays with her feets and babbles for like 15 minutes before I even go to get her!
But when she naps she wakes up and screams and cries! It could be a 5min, 10 min, 30min nap...doesn't matter.
Any ideas on why she could be doing this?

Jack still does this at 27 months - and has done it since he was a baby. I'll never really understand it. I do notice that he cries much less once he has a really good nap. I think for the most part he is waking up before he's really ready.

For the longest time, ds did this. He still does this sometimes.

For the most part though, if he wakes up screaming it's because he didn't sleep enough and is overtired. When he sleeps well, he wakes up happy.
