why do i feel like this?

this morning we did our 2nd IUI cycle and for some reason i'm feeling so grumpy about it. i know this sounds weird but last cycle, i was so excited and really thought we'd get our BFP and now that we are on cycle #2, it's just less interesting and i feel like my hope has dwindled. i feel terrible for even feeling that way. dr. b said that 80% of people concieve within 3 IUI cycles so that's a pretty good chance and i had 3 mature follies on my left side where i have a tube so all things looked good. but then why do i feel so down? i promised myself if we started IUI's that i would be grateful for every successful step, and i am, but i can't fight this feeling of melancholy....is this normal? is it the hormones?

Sorry you feel so down; it's hard to stay positive. For me, the 1st BFN was the worst and then the following 2 were less of a blow. However, I just did my 1st injectable cycles and will probably feel very dissappointed it does not take. Keep your chin up. !!!

I can relate because I feel down about my 2nd IVF cycle and I was excited for it the first time around It's all normal, I'm sure..

I totally hear you! Im a little bit behind you but will be gearing up for my second IUI (i guess) and am NOT excited/hopeful at all.
good thing hope doesnt get you knocked up

thanks girls i'm definitely having a "why me" day but i just got a frappucino so everything is looking up seriously though, i would just die without this board
